On the recommendation of a friend, we hired Erin as the photographer for my husband's 40th birthday party. We were thrilled with her work. Erin is a really cool person. Our party had a 20's theme, and Erin totally got into it by wearing a 20's outfit, which really helped her fit in with the guests. Both the posed and candid shots came out great, and I love that she captured so many great moments of us and our friends. She was very proactive with respect to getting great shots of all of the guests in the different areas of the party. We would definitely work with Erin again! Finally, we really appreciate the way she provides us with the images so that we can order prints as we like, rather than feeling pressured to buy prints immediately following the event.

Erin photographed our wedding this fall and we could not be more in love with the gorgeous images she captured. She came highly suggested from a close friend of ours and from our initial phone conversation with her we knew we wanted to have her be a part of the big day. She was professional but comfortable (our f&f thought we had known her for years!) And she is so sneaky! There were photos she caught that we had no idea were being taken. Looking back through them all now really gives us an honest look at how the day unfolded. The photos are natural, true and real. And so is Erin. She is as comfortable as a friend with the talent and genius of a 5 star photographer. (I'd give her many more if it let me.)

I first found Erin while trying on my wedding dress in Atlanta. She was completing a promotional shoot for the store. After a few shots she took, I knew I found the right photographer for my wedding. Not only have I hired Erin to photograph my wedding, but also a boudoir shoot and recently the arrival of our new baby boy. She is incredibly artistic with her shots and we have loved everything she has done; I have recommended Erin to everyone I know. She is very easy to work with, has incredible patience (especially when working with our 10 day old son), and is willing to accommodate any of your requests along with suggesting great ideas for creative shots. My husband and I had maternity photos taken by Erin when I was 33 weeks pregnant after she was recommended by a friend who had engagement photos taken by her. We had a 2-hour session in our home, which was super convenient and comfortable. Erin was flexible with the photo shoot fee since we really wanted to document the pregnancy but were tight on funds.

We both really enjoyed working with Erin! The best part was that Erin was very cool and easy to work with. My husband and I are quite shy when it comes to having our pictures taken, and not very photogenic, but she was very relaxed and professional and made us feel really comfortable. She arrived on time and brought some lighting equipment with her to ensure that we had the appropriate lighting for the shots we wanted to get. We showed her around our place, sharing with her ideas we had for shots to capture. She was amazing in coming up with a bunch of new ideas for shots as well! She even got to know our dog, who is a very special part of our family, and incorporated her into several shots that ended up being our favorites.

All of the best photos (about 100) were available for viewing and online ordering about 2 weeks following the shoot. She also sent us a CD with all of the best photos so that we can have them printed over time as we wish.

I cannot say enough good things about Erin! If you are planning to have professional photos taken, for a special occasion or no particular reason at all, I would recommend her hands down.

She did a family shoot, on a particularly hot day here in Marietta, where many of the pictures were taken outdoors. We had the most incredible experience taking our family photos with Erin Ashford. She has a very warm and comforting presence so you immediately feel relaxed when she is shooting photos. She spent a long time with us and took some absolutely beautiful photos. She connected with everybody in the family- grandparents, parents, and kids. By the time she had finished we felt like we were fast friends.

As for the photos... "oooh la la..." Truly awesome! Spontaneous, artsy, occasionally a little edginess and all of them really really beautiful. "We hired Erin at The Highland Inn hotel for a photo shoot in order to have photos to use in our upcoming brochure and in our website. We had hired photographers previously, but they never had the creative vision we were looking for. Erin was able to come in to our hotel, and immediately was rolling with waves of inspiration and creativity for the shoot.
